The Inaugural John Eakle Classic (4-27)

Coaches,

In this first year of what we hope will become one of the premier meets in Central Illinois we are making several creative adjustments in order to put on a showcase meet for the first year. In the future the format will be that of a co-ed two level (Boys-Varsity and F/S, Girls-Varsity and J/V) meet. We will limit the meet to 8 teams with two entries per team per event/gender/level. THIS YEAR! At the time of printing we have definite commitments from three boys teams and four girls teams. It is for this reason that we will make an adjustment on entries by allowing three entries at each level and each gender. We will conduct prelims and the number of heats will depend on our finalized list of teams. With our Finish Lynx system we have the ability to run prelims with advancement based on the top eight times in each event.

TEAMS THAT HAVE SHOWN INTEREST AND HAVE BEEN INVITED TO DATE: Danville HS (B&G), Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin (B&G), Champaign Centennial, West Lafayette IN (B&G), Mother McAuley HS (G).

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US NOW AND IN THE FUTURE FOR WHAT WE HOPE WILL BECOME ONE OF THE FINEST MEETS IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS!
